When Marty was a kid he was growing up in the Czech Republic during the ‘90s. He was always around workshops so he dreamed of becoming a woodworker. It was all he ever wanted to do.

In College, he took a particular interest in carpentry, furniture and cabinet making, as well as antique restoration. Marty learned enough to start building his career, and after college, he took a job at the local sawmill. He then worked in a factory that manufactured hardwood flooring, adding to his woodworking expertise. Not every hardwood floor installer has created and manufactured individual pieces by hand. At the factory, he made many pieces for hardwood floors, including custom jobs.

Soon, Marty would join his Father’s business installing security systems. Under his Father’s guidance, Marty learned how to properly communicate with customers and the importance of treating every customer like your own family. He would then take all of the experience he had acquired and move to the United States of America.

Marty started his new life in the U.S. with a focus on building a strong foundation and maintaining a good work ethic. Customer service would always come first, no matter what customer he was working with. He began doing many different trades in the United States, furthering his mastery of construction. However, working with wood was always his favorite. With that in mind, he created his own flooring business. Through his expert flooring experience, as well as experience with being a fair business owner, Marty set off to do what he does best, putting the customer first.
